Prominently projecting horizontal moulding at the crown (top) of the wall. The cornice moulding refers to mouldings such as 'crown', 'bead' and 'cove' which are applied to cornice construction. Internal cornices are where the interior walls meet the ceiling (forming a concave angle), while exterior cornices are where the external wall meets the roof (forming a convex angle).
