Work involved: Exterior rendering and decorative mouldings on a new development.


Back in 2003, F. H. Crocker & Co (in conjunction with the parent company J. H. Lidstone Ltd) were contracted by The Kier Group for the exterior rendering and decorative mouldings to the external elevations of Clifden Gate. This is a new development of luxury apartments. The original buildings had been burnt to the ground and the design brief stated that the new structure would match the Gothic architecture of neighbouring properties. Through a study of photographs of the original building and the neighbouring properties, we designed features which were then reproduced using specially formulated mixes and renders.

The results, shown here, are a fine example of the attention to detail and of the high standard of workmanship continually achieved by F. H. Crocker & Co's tradesmen.
